Top Ten Tuesday

And so I’m back to the TTT! As usual it’s hosted by the Broke and the Bookish, and this week’s theme is:

November 8: Ten Books I’ve Added To My To-Be-Read List Lately

As previously mentioned I’m picky with taking people’s recommendations, and at this point it’s pretty much down to a few people writing on here. I use two separate ways of keeping track of future reads – local bol.com’s list system and Swedish bokus.se (obviously for the Swedish books  and books that bol don’t sell).

The most recently added items on bol are:

  • Mark Z. Danielewski’s “The Familiar #3“, because I haven’t given up on this series yet (#2 was better than #1, so then it’s impossible to stop yet!)
  • Boris Pasternak’s “Doctor Zhivago“. Part cause it’s a classic and part cause this version looks pretty.
  • Goldy Moldavsky’s “Kill the Boy Band“. Because Lisa says it’s good.
  • Colson Whitehead’s “The Underground Railroad” Because the New Yorker said it’s good.
  • Emma Cline’s “The Girls“. Because everyone talks about it and I’m a sucker for peer pressure.

The most recently added items on bokus are:
