Christmas market #1 (Norway)

With the whole “biggest harbor in Europe”, Rotterdam is also the home of Sailor’s churches, which includes the Scandinavian (+ Finnish) ones. Every November/December, they all have their own Christmas markets, with things from their own countries. I’ve only ever gone to the Swedish and Finnish ones before, but this year I also went to the Norwegian one – mainly cause I wanted to see how that cool building looks on the inside, but I also ended up with some Stratos chocolate and some lefse. Oh, and I got to speak Swedish (to Norwegians, obviously), and this may sound cheesy, but it’s good for my soul.

Just to make you realize how special this is – people don’t build with wood here, since there’s not very much available, plus it’s so humid.
