Travel Tag

I’ll tag along with Lisa and do this travel tag that Laurenellen shared on her site.

Where was your first plane to?
Italy! My Italian class in high school did a 1-week exchange with an Italian school, so we flew to Milano. I was 17 and rather nervous.

Where have you travelled to that you would love to visit again?
So many places, but right now I dream of Lisbon and Curaçao. Just google for pictures of either place and you’ll surely see why.

Preferred method of travel; planes, trains or car?
They all have their merits, but after commuting by train it’s not my first hand choice for vacation travelling (although, at one point we took the night train from Amsterdam to Zürich and that was extremely convenient). Plane – so fast, and so uncomfortable if you’re tall. Trains – you get to see something, can move around freely and read or watch movies without problems. Cars – can’t read, but then again, you can stop whenever YOU feel like it and take your time.

Favourite travel website?
Expedia for finding hotels and tripadvisor to double check that the hotels are acceptable.

Where would you travel to just eat the food?
Thailand maybe? Or Mexico.

Is there a place you would never go again?
Not that I’ve been to yet!

Do you prefer the Window, Aisle, or Middle seat?
Aisle, easily. (Unless I’m travelling with 2 people I know then either is fine.) Sure you can’t lean against the window to sleep, but you’re free to go to the bathroom without having to climb over or wake strangers.

How do you pass the time on the air plane?
Reading, sleeping or watching movies!

Regarding point 4; while a lot of vitamin supplements are crap (check % of recommended daily dosage before eating them…), I started eating iron, magnesium and b12 before Christmas cause I was so damn tired all the time. And guess what? Not anymore!
